Our rationale on proposal: Security Subsidy Program for Scroll Builders
While security is essential, this proposal in its current form concentrates decision-making, locks the DAO into specific vendors, offers minimal financial upside, and risks inefficient allocation of community resources without sufficient competitive safeguards or measurable, enforceable outcomes. A more open, transparent, and competitive security grant framework could achieve similar goals with lower risk and better alignment with DAO principles.
