An exclusive in-person event for DAO contributors will take place during Devconnect’s DAO Day, featuring updates on current proposals, discussions on the new DAO architecture, and broader alignment on Scroll’s governance roadmap.

EGC Marketing RFC
The Ecosystem Growth Council (EGC) shared updates on its Marketing RFC, which proposes allocating 500,000 SCR across three focus areas:
- User-generated content fund
- Unified ecosystem marketing campaign
- Growth support for Open Economy founders
Community feedback is encouraged to help prioritize which initiatives to activate first given budget constraints.
Growth Marketing & Open Economy Season 3
Discussions highlighted a shift toward sustained growth support for builders.
Open Economy Season 3 will focus on a year-long cohort of around three consumer crypto projects, designed to ensure consistent support for user acquisition, growth marketing, and long-term success.
SCR Token Accessibility & Treasury Design
Concerns were raised regarding limited access to SCR tokens and the impact of paying contributors solely in SCR.
It was suggested that a stablecoin treasury could improve payment flexibility and reduce sell pressure.
This topic will be explored further as part of the new DAO architecture discussions.
Governance Council Selection & Transparency
The Governance Council has been formed, bringing together key working groups to support operational transparency.
Upcoming weekly updates will include progress on:
- Governance tooling evaluations
- Financial planning and reporting
- Constitutional and structural redesign
Community Grants Program
The community grants program continues to be recognized for its global impact in activating builders and communities.
Due to budget adjustments, new disbursements are expected to pause, while completed initiatives continue to be celebrated for their success.
