TLDR
Scroll DAO is moving from high-level ecosystem growth ideas to more concrete plans. We’re launching a Request for Ideas (RFI)-a step before full proposals to gather more detailed input from the community.
Submissions open Apr 22 and close Apr 29, with discussion on Apr 30 governance call.
The goal is to have RFI responses ready for the Apr 30th call, so that we can have a formal propsal ready to go up on the forum by the second week of May.
Overview
On Wed Apr 9th and Wed Apr 16th, we hosted a series of discussions pertaining to Ecosystem Growth at Scroll DAO. We focused most of our attention on filling out this Miro board.
At this point, the priority is for us to go from gathering high-level ideas to specific proposals we can co-design.
This post is going to outline a request for ideas (RFI) that we want to put out to the community. We want this stage to go deeper than what is in the miro board and to outline a specific approach that the DAO can focus on.
We are not calling this an RFP (request for proposals) because we don’t want folks writing up full proposals just yet. This is meant to be one step before that - giving more information than the short notes in the miro but not as formal as a full RPF.
If you have any questions, reply here or message us on telegram.
Process for the RFI
- Read the RFI below.
- Put together the relevant information as outlined below.
- Go to the new RFI-Ecosystem Growth sub-category on the forum and add a new thread there for your idea.
- Submit your response to the RFI as a reply in that thread.
Submissions to the RFI will be welcome as of Tue Apr 22nd.
Submissions must be submitted by end of day Tue Apr 29th.
Submissions will be discussed during the governance calls on Wed Apr 30th.
From there, we will encourage full proposals to be submitted to the forum.
Request for Ideas
The following details should be in your response to this RFI:
- Title
- Name and whether or not you’re a delegate.
- Category of your idea (should match one of the categories in the organize notes in the miro).

- How will this idea help ecosystem growth (in no less than 4 sentences; at least one example of how this has gone in other ecosystems should be included).
- Required budget for the idea in SCR.
