Overview
This post is meant to recap where we’ve been so far and to give a heads up of where the CCC is headed (as of Fri, Nov 29).
Tl;dr we have sourced ideas and identified which potential proposals got folks most excited. Next week, we will transition to co-designing the proposals.
Deadline for proposals will be 6p EST/UTC-5 on December 11 and voting will start on December 12 10a EST/UTC-5.

What’s happened to date
We started the CCC on October 28, 2024 with a kickoff call. We then set context of some of the relevant activities that had taken place within Scroll. From there, we sourced ideas via a DeForm and a Miro board.
The ideas that came up were used to populate Polis across two instances. You can see those results here:
These results were used to populate the Miro board we used this week. The three workshops that ran between Nov 27 and Nov 29 helped us surface the 12 potential proposals.
These proposals now each have their own gdoc, which you can find in this folder.
Process going forward
Between December 2nd and December 11th, there will be a total of 6 sessions meant to help co-design and refine the proposals before they go up for a vote. Session #14 on Wed Dec 4 at 0730a EST/UTC-5 is the only one with a fixed agenda - defining the desired outcomes of a few proposals to set a bar for what desired outcomes and potential metrics can look like.
On December 2nd, I will go through and add the template to each proposal doc. I will also create a telegram group for each proposal and will start a thread for each proposal to maximize coordination and visibility.
The hope is that each group will finalize their proposal themselves and I will support as needed.
The deadline to finish proposals in time for the December vote will be 6p EST/UTC-5 on December 11 and voting will start on December 12 10a EST/UTC-5.
It is likely that not all 12 proposals that emerged from the Miro workshops this week will turn into fully formed proposals by December 11. That is totally ok. My personal goal is to see at least 5 proposals be ready for vote on the 12th. It is very ok to decide now is not the right time for a specific proposal or that we should do more research or prep work before voting on something.
Conclusion
I appreciate that you all have been so open to trying this approach and I am very excited to see what we co-create together! Reach out if you have any questions / concerns.
