Tierra de Buidlers Hackathon Report]

Executive Summary

The “Tierra de Buidlers” Hackathon was designed as a strategic entry point for developers to transition from observers to active contributors (buidlers) within the Scroll ecosystem. Through an intensive 30-hour in-person hackathon held during the week of Devconnect, we successfully fostered high-quality deployments and technical engagement on Scroll.

Project Overview & Execution

The event focused on broad educational reach and deep technical commitment through three main pillars:

  • Virtual Phase (Nov 3 - Nov 14): Technical workshops and masterclasses focused on Scroll’s scalability and deployment.

  • The “ETH House” (Oct 20 - Nov 20): A month-long co-working space that served as a pre-hackathon incubator for participants.

  • In-Person Hackathon (Nov 19 - Nov 20): 2 days and 2 nights of continuous building at a top-tier venue in Buenos Aires.
