Governance documentation has been updated with a clearer structure and outdated content cleaned up.
A new Notion DAO Hub has been launched as an accessible entry point for the community, including a Proposal Kanban.
Forum reorganized: new categories, added tags, sorted posts - no content deleted.
As part of our to-do list from Q1 Goal & Priorities, we’re excited to share that the governance documentation update has now been finalized.
Define an initial set of forum and documentation improvements
We are just getting started with governance at Scroll, and we recognize there’s room for improvement in how we communicate—ranging from our governance documents to our forum. In Q1, we aimed to identify and begin implementing a set of initial improvements. While we’ve already made a few incremental changes, we’re now conducting a more thorough review.
Metric: Has a forum post been published outlining the forthcoming or active changes related to governance documentation and the forum?
What’s New
We have updated the governance documentation, which is now organized into three core sections:
Key Changes
- Reorganized documentation into clearer categories to improve navigation
- Removed or updated outdated information for accuracy
- Created the Notion DAO Hub
- Added the DAO Constitution
- Relocated descriptive content about the CCC and how to become a delegate to the Notion DAO Hub
The new structure emphasizes a foundational set of documents for both the social and technical layers of governance at Scroll.
Notion DAO Hub
The Notion DAO Hub has been launched to serve as an accessible and up-to-date resource for the community. It is designed to be:
- A starting point for all community members regardless of experience level
- A space that includes the Proposal Kanban, which offers an overview of active and ongoing proposals
Forum Reorganizaiton:
We’ve made several key changes to improve the clarity and navigation of our forum space:
- Reorganized categories:
We added Governance Iteration and Global Community as new categories and sorted all existing posts into their appropriate sections. - Added tags:
We’ve added a tag system and strongly encourage everyone to use relevant tags when posting, so discussions stay organized and easy to follow. - No content deleted:
Don’t worry! We didn’t remove any posts. If you can’t find yours, it has likely been moved into a more fitting category, use a search bar to find it.
Hopefully the changes make the forum and the docs easier and more enjoyable to navigate.
