Weekly Governance Recap

  • Governance Slowdown
    • Scroll leadership team (Sandy, Raza & Haichen) announced that governance and DAO activities will be slow down
    • Active proposals already in execution will continue , but new proposals and voting are paused.

"A summary:

  1. All accepted proposals will move forward as planned.
  2. Governance remains in place while the workstream designs a new model.
  3. Our focus is on alignment, efficiency, and sustainability.
  4. No new proposals will be processed until the updated model is presented."

Past calls:

  • Weekly calls were not recorded due to their highly sensitive nature. Sandy, Raza, and Haichen - the leadership joined the discussions to address questions regarding governance minimization and the DAO slowdown. Most questions about the new governance model, including its rationale and next steps, are still to be answered by the leadership.

September voting cycle finished with all 4 proposals reaching the quorum, the DAO and the Governance team are waiting for the further updates from the Scroll leadership in regards to the execution of those proposals.
