Budget Allocation:

  • Pre-event activation (30%) – Key visuals, social templates, speaker one-pagers, press kit, digital ad campaigns, and RSVP tooling.

  • On-site preparation (50%) – AV tests, registration desk, stage flows, speaker prep, volunteers, furniture, banners, credentials/lanyards, and snacks.

  • Post-event (20%) – Metrics, content uploads, insights for future editions, post-event celebration to retain and reward the community team.

Event Description

Ethereum Pura Vida 2025 is the third edition of Costa Rica’s flagship Ethereum community event, hosted by Ethereum Costa Rica and Diego Guzman.

The one-day conference brought together builders, students, professionals, and Web3-curious attendees to explore:

  • Blockchain and Ethereum fundamentals

  • DeFi and trustless financial tools

  • Digital identity and zk-proofs

  • Developer onboarding and UX for dApps

  • Live demos, on-chain games, and networking spaces

Key Metrics & Impact

  • 135 in-person attendees

  • 70 active participants in live Q&A sessions

  • 60 additional virtual attendees

  • Audience profile included:

    • Software engineering students

    • DeFi enthusiasts

    • Community developers and returning hackers from previous editions

    • Founders working on privacy and infrastructure focused Web3 projects

To build momentum before the main conference, the team organized two side events:

  • “Road to ETHPV” – a warm-up meetup introducing the event themes and ecosystem partners.

  • “Road to Kuala Lumpur (Vibe Coding)” – a hands-on, AI-assisted building session that showed how to go from idea to MVP on Scroll, and positioned ETH Pura Vida as a natural next step.

Scroll-Specific Metrics

  • 2 X posts about Scroll were published from the official @EthereumCR account during the campaign

  • Ethereum Pura Vida activated 135 in-person attendees, 70 Q&A participants, and 60 virtual participants, many of whom were exposed to Scroll for the first time through the Ether.fi onboarding.

  • Campaign content distributed via X and Instagram, from accounts with several hundred followers, extended reach beyond the venue:

    • ~5,000 impressions on X

    • ~250,000 impressions on Instagram

Resources & Support Impact

Scroll’s Community Grants support directly enabled:

  • Quality on-site production (audio, staging, signage, lanyards, and logistics) that matched the standard expected from an official Ethereum ecosystem event.

  • A structured post-event reporting process, including metrics, photos/videos, and insights to iterate for future editions.

  • A volunteer appreciation dinner, strengthening the core community team and helping retain organizers for 2026 and beyond.

We’re grateful for Scroll’s trust and support in making Ethereum Pura Vida 2025 a reality, and we’re excited to keep using this event as a launchpad for more Scroll native builders, content, and collaborations across Costa Rica and Latin America.
