Thanks for those who were able to join the first kickoff call today (October 28, 2024)! If you missed it, here are links to the recording and to the transcript.
The call started by reviewing some of the docs that have been released recently. These include:

Recap
The main focus of the call was going through the Co-Creation Cycle plan as outlined in our docs.
Some questions that came up during the call include:
- Is it only possible to participate in the Co-Creation Cycle during the calls or is there any asynchronous way to contribute?
- People will have the chance to contribute asynchronously. More information to come soon
- What is the Foundationās role in the cycle and Scroll DAO overall?
- The Foundation team is shepherding the cycle, as well as generally providing operational support as the DAO gets started. You can read more about our Governance Philosophy and our other docs for more info.
- DAOs frequently deal with challenges around the tension between geographic focus, product focus, etc. How will Scroll DAO approach these.
- Our choice for starting with the Co-Creation Cycle is in part to allow for emergence. The Foundation and DAO are meant to co-design the starting point as the Foundation oversees the process of progressive decentralization.
Next Steps
The next steps for the cycle be the context setting calls later this week. Check the governance calendar for the most up-to-date times. We will also be releasing more info later this week on the interactive sessions coming next week.
