The following reflects the views of L2BEAT’s governance team, composed of @krst, @Sinkas, and @Manugotsuka, and it’s based on their combined research, fact-checking, and ideation.
We are voting FOR the proposal.
Having reviewed the proposal with the help of L2BEAT’s research team, we’re voting in its favor as there’s nothing controversial about it. The changes the proposal introduces are welcome, and we look forward to how Scroll will treat the PauseController
to fully satisfy our Stage 1 principle requirement.
I am voting FOR the proposal. The adoption of EIP-1559 is a no brainer, as it has already been present in Ethereum since the London hard fork.
It’s also nice to add compatibility with the EVM
Thank you all! The Feynman upgrade has been executed.
We voted for the Feynman Upgrade proposal because it significantly strengthens the Scroll protocol, bringing a more robust fee model, increasing EVM compatibility, and simplifying smart contracts. These improvements not only improve security and developer experience, but also reduce technical debt and bring Scroll even closer to Ethereum.
