Important to mention that it is our intention that experimentation across different regions in terms of initiatives is a key aspect of the first batch of the Local Nodes, instead of iterating on a single node several times, we see the opportunity of having several nodes try different things

I fully agree that having different local communities try different things is great, as long as it’s within the a scope they can succeed. Local communities training and attracting developers makes sense. Local communities can attract founder sbut when it comes to supporting founders best to leave that to vertical programs for the reasons explained here:

Here is where I see a big opportunity for improvement. All our research shows that no vertical specialisation (and instead using local communities only) is poor strategy. Virtually every L1/L2 ecosystem tried this generalist approach and some of the key learnings we’re gathering are that lack of vertical specialisation leads to: poor support as local programs can only offer generic advice. e.g. a gaming project in malaysia is closer to a gaming project in Latam, than to a DePin project in mal…
