Since the approval of the Local Node, our main focus has been to launch and put into motion the Scroll Brazil Acceleration Program, which is our localized version of Scroll Open, but shaped specifically for the Brazilian context and builder community. We created a notion page with all the informations about the program for participants.
We kicked things off by designing a curriculum that blends theory with practical execution: online classes, and hands-on deliverables that help teams go from idea to prototype. This stage is already well underway, we’ve completed several sessions covering ideation, product validation, MVP development and UX/design. Participants have formed squads, submitted assignments, and received tailored guidance from mentors who know the Web3 landscape inside out.
In the program we had 20 projects registered, with different focus, like onboarding to web3, infraestructure of payments with stablecoins, connection with devs, tokenization of music industry and others.
During the Scroll Brazil Acceleration Program we had 6 classes, divided into:
Class 1: Idea Generation and Team Building
Class 2: Building in Public
Class 3: Building MVPs
Class 4: Design and UX
Class 5: Growth and Community
Class 6: Demo Day Preparation
Demo day:
Beyond the classes, we’ve used the Modular Crypto social channels and partner networks to keep the community aware of what’s happening, promote the program, share participant progress, and attract more eyes to Scroll’s growing local footprint. This visibility is crucial in Brazil, where trusted communities drive a lot of engagement.
About the winners of Scroll Brazil Acceleration Program:
1 - Scrollpay:
A stablecoin payment solution in Scroll network, designed for e-commerce.
With a focus on a simple, Web2-like UX, it allows any store to easily accept USDT and USDC, connecting traditional commerce to the Web3 universe.
2 - ForgeCollege:
An educational platform that accelerates the development of Web3 developers using AI.
The difference? Students receive scholarships to study, and the content is in-depth, overcoming the common barriers to entry and superficiality of current courses.
3 - Black Mindz Flow Cash:
Focused 100% on the hip-hop market, the project proposes the tokenization of musical flow.
The idea is for artists in the genre to own their own intellectual property and directly monetize their productions.
The Scroll Bazil Acceleration Program was an intense and a great journey, with some incredible projects presented during Demo Day. We had three standout winners, with mature proposals and high potential to make an impact within the Scroll ecosystem. However, despite the success of the initiative, it’s still unclear how these projects will continue their journey with support from the Local Node team. We’ve noticed the lack of a more structured bridge to ensure ongoing support, visibility, and connection with the next steps of Scroll’s global roadmap. We believe that supporting and nurturing these talents is essential to strengthen local project growth and continued building on the Scroll network.

All the governance calls attended and engaged with all the local node discussions
Over the past month, the Brazil Local Node has advanced its mission of expanding Scroll’s presence in Brazil by combining technical education, community engagement, and governance participation. Our efforts have focused on bridging the gap between the global Scroll ecosystem and the unique opportunities in the Brazilian Web3 landscape, from hosting educational content and ecosystem research to actively contributing to governance discussions. This report outlines the key actions, milestones, and insights from our recent activities, showcasing how local activation is driving tangible impact for Scroll’s growth and adoption.
The report also encompasses the actions carried out up to the present date in August.
In the second month of Scroll Local Node’s operations in Brazil, we consolidated and significantly expanded our operations, focusing on three strategic pillars: builder acceleration, social media engagement, and strengthening Scroll’s institutional presence in the region. Through coordinated actions and an active presence on multiple fronts, both online and in-person, we sought not only to activate the existing community but also to build bridges to new audiences, projects, and leaders in the Brazilian ecosystem.
Our main driver of impact continued to be the Scroll Brasil Acceleration Program, an acceleration program based on the Open Campus, but fully adapted to the Brazilian reality, designed to transform embryonic ideas into functional prototypes with potential for real adoption. This second stage of the program culminated with Demo Day, marking the end of the training phase and the beginning of a new agenda focused on mentoring sessions for projects across three main areas: Product Development; Marketing; and Growth.

Programa de Aceleração
Demo Day was a milestone for Local Node Brasil. After weeks of content and practical lessons, dozens of projects reached the public presentation stage.
The program showcased the depth and diversity of local talent, with proposals that directly align with Scroll’s strategic pillars: usability, culture, local identity, and innovation.
In the final stage of the Scroll Brazil Acceleration Program, we focused our efforts on tailored mentorship sessions for the participating projects, aiming to prepare them for the next steps in their journeys within the Web3 ecosystem.
Two strategic sessions were held, each focusing on a key pillar: product formatting, to ensure clarity and feasibility of the solution; and marketing, to build a strong narrative and connect with relevant audiences. The growth session didn’t take place on the scheduled date due to an issue with the mentor agenda (but we’re already working on rescheduling it).
These mentorships represented a key moment of refinement and maturity for the projects, bridging the program’s practical experience with real-world market challenges.
Held at Saga School, an educational hub focused on technology, the event brought together around 50 participants. The highlight was the panel “L2 as a Cultural Revolution”, which sparked reflections on how infrastructures like Scroll enable new forms of cultural expression, local markets, and narratives.
We also explored why Scroll is an excellent place for builders, emphasizing its infrastructure, community, and ongoing support for emerging projects. The audience, made up of builders, creators, and digital culture enthusiasts, confirmed the power of these gatherings in Salvador to spark new connections, ideas, and initiatives.
The Scroll Meetup: Brazil Local Node, hosted in Florianópolis by Blockful and Modular Crypto, aimed to bring participants closer to Scroll’s governance and encourage project building on the network.
The activation aimed to introduce the Scroll DAO to the Brazilian developer community, a group where many were still unfamiliar with its mission and governance framework. The session unpacked the path to becoming a delegate, the decision-making processes within the DAO, and the various ways technical contributors can actively participate.
Gabriella Mena, from Scroll’s team, shared insights into the vision shaping Scroll’s governance model, the strategic role of Local Nodes, and highlighted ongoing collaborations.
Introduction to the Scroll DAO: insights into the protocol, governance, and ways to participate as a delegate, presented by Gabriella Mena.

The Scroll Brazil Local Node contributed 37 applications to the Open Economy.
We’re in constant contact with projects from the Brazilian ecosystem, offering essential support at various stages of development. This includes helping with product validation, ensuring that solutions are aligned with market needs; pitch preparation, guiding teams to clearly and effectively communicate their value; and smart contract deployment on the Scroll network, making it easier for projects to launch.
Our goal is to strengthen these Brazilian initiatives so they can be selected to participate in the Open Campus, fostering innovation and growth within the local community by building a strong and collaborative ecosystem.
We’re also leveraging our networks and communities to highlight the value of participating in the Open Economy, showing why Brazilian builders should engage directly with the open opportunities provided by the Scroll DAO.
During the last week of July, we held calls with over five projects, helping them with their applications for the Open Campus.
As the leader of the Local Node Brazil, Modular Crypto participated in all governance calls of the Scroll DAO, including the dedicated meetings for Local Nodes. We maintained active communication with members of the Scroll Foundation and reported our updates in real time, both through calls and X Spaces. This integration has strengthened our role as a bridge between the global ecosystem and regional contexts.
Challenges
Despite the success of the acceleration phase and in-person activations, we identified a key bottleneck: the lack of a structured post-program track. Many of the winning and finalist projects feel the need for continued support in areas such as validation, fundraising, and integration with the formal arms of the Scroll DAO.
We recommend the creation of:
A small grants program for projects within the Scroll ecosystem;
Ongoing mentorship linked to grants programs (such as Questbook and RetroPGF);
Visibility opportunities for projects through Scroll’s official channels.

Throughout November, the Brazil Local Node was actively present at Devconnect, joining key Scroll initiatives and engaging directly with the global ecosystem. The team participated in multiple official events including Scroll Networking Day and Scroll DAO Day, strengthening our alignment with the core contributors and the broader community.
This IRL presence enabled us to:
Participate in conversations shaping Scroll’s governance and community evolution
Connect with LatAm builders attending Devconnect, reinforcing regional collaboration
Amplify Brazil’s voice within the global Scroll ecosystem
The Brazil Local Node team gained stronger knowledge of Scroll’s key initiatives and the main projects being built on the network, allowing us to contribute more effectively, share better insights, and support ecosystem growth with more context and clarity.
Our participation made one thing clear: the Brazil Local Node isn’t just active locally, it is fully plugged into Scroll’s global movement, representing Brazilian builders, creators, and communities on an international stage.
November marked the core activation phase of the content hackathon campaign and the momentum was undeniable.
The initiative empowered creators from Brazil and LATAM to produce authentic, community-driven content about Scroll, its tooling, and key ecosystem projects such as EtherFi Cash, USX Capital, Honeypop, and ChatterPay.
The campaign gained significant traction:
30+ participants actively creating for the challenge
Dozens of high-quality submissions across multiple formats
Videos, threads, explainers, reviews, and storytelling-driven posts
Participation from creators across different regions of Brazil
Positive community sentiment toward Scroll’s brand
Organic amplification by influencers and ecosystem builders
In total, the Portuguese track generated 30,522 views, showing strong engagement and growing curiosity around the ecosystem.
This activation reshaped Scroll’s presence in Brazil, strengthening brand perception after a year in which positive visibility had been a challenge. The community embraced the initiative, and the campaign became a clear signal that Scroll uplifts not only developers, but content creators as well.
And the sentiment shift was unmistakable:
More people are discovering, understanding, and telling Scroll’s story in their own voice.
Builders & Founders Program Propagation
In November, we officially began promoting the Builders & Founders Program, aiming to attract more teams to build real products on the Scroll ecosystem.
The campaign focused on:
Introducing the program’s value for early-stage builders
Highlighting hands-on learning, mentorship, and deployment support
Reaching dev communities, universities, and local builder
This launch is helping shape a new wave of builders in Brazil, signaling that Scroll is actively supporting those who want to learn, create, and bring impactful projects to life on the network.
More teams are now discovering the opportunity, understanding the roadmap, and taking their first steps to build inside the Scroll ecosystem.
Across the month, our activations on Modular Crypto’s X account and partner channels continued to amplify Scroll’s narrative in Brazil.
In total, the Modular team published 20+ pieces of content about Scroll and its ecosystem, generating over 10,000 impressions and helping expand awareness across different audience segments.
Highlights included:
Promotion of Content Hakcathon
IRL coverage from Scroll events at Devconnect
Presence at EthLatam, sharing panels and community activations
Collabs with Brazilian creators, designers, and community leads
Collectively, these storytelling efforts strengthened Scroll’s position as a creative, educational, and community-driven ecosystem, reaching thousands of users and reinforcing the cultural identity forming around Scroll in Brazil.
Conclusion
November represented a strategic expansion phase for the Scroll Brazil Local Node.
Between Devconnect, EthLatam, ongoing community activations, and the widespread traction of the Content Hackathon, the month solidified Scroll’s presence across the region and shaped a narrative centered on creativity, education, and belonging.
The explosion of high-quality community content, combined with strong IRL visibility, helped accelerate a broad shift in brand perception: Scroll is increasingly seen as an open, vibrant, and empowering ecosystem for both builders and creators.
